I do not request, and do not intentionally collect, special categories of personal data such as information about your health or mental well-being through this website.
Please do not include details about your health, diagnoses, medication or sensitive personal circumstances in the contact form or in unencrypted email. A brief, general indication of your topic is sufficient for an initial enquiry.
If you nevertheless choose to share such information voluntarily, I process it solely on the basis of your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, and only for the purpose of responding to you or carrying out our agreed work. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

4.1 Website hosting and contact form
My website is hosted by Tilda Publishing. Servers are located in Germany and Finland. Your data may also be disclosed to my tax advisor and to tax authorities where required by law, and to a legal advisor where necessary to assert or defend legal claims.

5. Cookies and analytics

5.1 Consent
Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG without your consent; the subsequent processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the functioning of the website).
All non-essential technologies, in particular analytics, are activated only after you have given prior consent via the consent banner, in accordance with § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Until you consent, no such cookies are set and no data is transmitted to the roviders concerned. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

5.2 Google Tag Manager
I use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) to manage website tags. Google Tag Manager does not itself create user profiles, set analytics cookies or collect data for its own purposes. However, it is loaded from Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google. Other tags are triggered only after you have given consent. Legal basis: § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

5.3 Google Analytics 4
With your consent I use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how visitors use my website.
Data processed: truncated IP address, pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location at country level, device and browser type, and interaction events. IP
anonymisation is active by default in Google Analytics 4.
I do not use Google Signals, cross-device tracking or the User-ID feature. Data retention in Google Analytics is set to 14 months, after which data is deleted automatically.
Legal basis: § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Browser opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

5.4 Google Ads
I advertise my services via Google Ads. No Google Ads conversion or remarketing tag is installed on this website.
If you reach my site by clicking one of my ads, the link may contain a click identifier (the "gclid" parameter) in the URL. Where you have consented to analytics, this identifier may be recorded in Google Analytics and used to attribute the visit to an advertising campaign. My Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts are linked, which allows aggregated conversion statistics to be shown in Google Ads.
I receive only aggregated, non-identifying reports and cannot identify individual users through these tools. My ad targeting is limited to country-level geography and does not use sensitive interest categories.
Legal basis: § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Further information on Google's processing: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. Transfers outside the european economic area
Some of my service providers are based in, or have parent companies in, the United States.
Google LLC and Zoom Communications, Inc. are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers of personal data to these recipients therefore take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR.
Where an adequacy decision does not apply, transfers are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR, together with supplementary protective measures where appropriate. Copies of the relevant clauses can be provided on request.

7. How long i keep your data

  • Client correspondence and appointment records: Deleted 3 years after the end of our working relationship (regular limitation period, § 195 BGB), calculated from the end of the calendar year in which the relationship ended.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 8 years pursuant to § 147 AO and § 257 HGB.
  • Other tax-relevant business correspondence: 6 years pursuant to § 147 AO.
  • Server log files: 7 to 14 days, then deleted automatically.

Where data is subject to statutory retention periods, it is blocked from further use until the period expires and then deleted.

8. Data security
My website uses TLS encryption (recognisable by "https://" and the padlock symbol in your browser) to protect data transmitted between your browser and the server.
I apply appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, including device encryption, strong authentication with two-factor login on all business accounts, and restricted access to client information.
Please note that no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

9. Minors
My services are directed at adults. I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Where processing is based on consent, persons under 16 years of age may only give consent with the authorisation of a parent or guardian (Art. 8 (1) GDPR). A contract for my services can only be concluded by a person with full legal capacity, as a rule from the age of 18.

10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
  • Access (Art. 15) - to obtain confirmation whether I process your data, and a copy of it
  • Rectification (Art. 16) - to have inaccurate data corrected
  • Erasure (Art. 17) - to have your data deleted, subject to statutory retention obligations
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability (Art. 20) - to receive data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection (Art. 21) - see section 11 below
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3)) - at any time, with effect for the future
  • Not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22) - I do not carry out such processing
  • To lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77) - see section 12 below
To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details in section 1. I will respond within one month of receiving your request (Art. 12 (3) GDPR). If your request is complex, I may extend this period by up to two further months and will inform you of the reasons.

11. Right to object (art. 21 gdpr)
Where I process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your
particular situation. If you object, I will no longer process the data concerned unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object at any time without giving reasons. Following such an objection, your data will no longer be processed for that purpose.
An objection can be sent informally to the contact details in section 1.

12. Supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (HBDI)
Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1
65189 Wiesbaden, Germany
Phone: +49 611 1408-0
Email: poststelle@datenschutz.hessen.de
Web: datenschutz.hessen.de
You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work.

13. Browser signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. As no uniform technical standard for interpreting these signals has been established, I do not currently evaluate them separately.
Your choices in the consent banner remain decisive for whether analytics technologies are used, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

14. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in my services or in legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page and is identified by the date at the top. Where changes materially affect you, I will inform you in an appropriate manner.
